Introducing H2Origin Refills – water refilling stations with award winning tech!

H2Origin Refills has a simple but important mission: Reduce the colossal environmental impact of bottled water by bringing chilled, triple filtered H2O directly from to source to refillable water bottles via a growing network of water refill stations.

How do our water refilling stations do this? We work with partners to put our refillable water stations where people need them – such as shopping centres, stadiums, airports, offices and many more.

They provide premium, triple-filtered, chilled water for just 45p per 500ml or 750ml refill – water that is just as good as the best bottled water but at a fraction of the cost.

More people than ever are aware of the environmental impact of plastic pollution, but that doesn’t always translate into action. While many feel guilty about buying plastic bottles, half still buy bottled water because they forget to take their refillable bottles with them or find it too inconvenient to refill on the go even though they know it would reduce plastic bottle waste.

Research from Keep Britain Tidy and BRITA UK shows that nearly 75% of people in the UK say they would embrace refills if they could do it easily and on the go. Furthermore, 62% of people surveyed said that they are more likely to spend money somewhere which provides hassle-free access to water refills – making the provision of premium water refills a good business move too.

As well as being a healthy hydration option, our water bottle refill stations also reduce plastic usage and carbon emissions at the same time. We provide accurate, real-time data showing exactly how much plastic and CO2 you have saved which can then be used for your ESG reporting.

Dominic Appleby, founder of H2Origin Refills, said: “There has been so much progress in recent years when it comes to reducing single use plastic bottle waste. People are more aware and willing to take action than ever before.

“But there is still a long way to go and many barriers which make it tough for people to fill up their bottles on the go.

“More than three quarters of adults in the UK own a refillable bottle. If we can reach a point where refilling is seen as quick, convenient and the normal thing to do, it will have a huge impact. Our water refill stations are a great way to do that and we work closely with our partners to create a positive environmental and public health impact.”

Are you a business owner or facilities manager looking to cut plastic bottle waste and reduce your environmental impact? The award-winning technology provided by H2Origin Refills can help people ditch the CO₂-heavy lifecycle of single-use plastic bottles, and embrace a more sustainable approach by tapping into the UK's amazing water sources.
